ELEV8 is a food supplement dedicated to helping you feel energetic, driven and powerful in your training sessions. Expertly formulated to give you the power you need in the lead-up to exercise. Available in two flavours: Candy Grape and Fruit Punch. 

ELEV8 is suitable for male and female trainees, from beginners to pro level athletes.

Unlike other pre-workouts, ELEV8 isn’t reliant of heavy stimulants to get you going. We’ve opted for moderate caffeine plus complimentary nootropics which mean most will be able to enjoy ELEV8 for their afternoon and evening workouts, with no crash or disruption to sleep.

Suggested use

As a food supplement, mix 1 scoop (12g) with 250ml to 300ml of water, and consume 20-30 minutes before workout. 

Ingredients

6g Citrulline Malate

Citrulline containing supplements are generally taken as they lead to an increase in nitric oxide production. Citrulline also plays into the urea cycle, where ammonia and lactic acid are eliminated. This means better pumps, and the ability to train hard for longer before fatigue builds up.

The difference between citrulline malate and standard l-citrulline is the addition of malic acid to citrulline. This may bring about additional benefits. For example, malate boosts energy and increases performance further due to how it plays into the citric acid (krebs) cycle. The krebs cycle allows for the regeneration of ATP so that we can continue exercise.

3.2g Beta Alanine

Beta alanine has been shown to increase muscular endurance by buffering the build up of lactic acid in the body.

250mg Caffeine

The world’s most popular psychoactive drug. Caffeine is a stimulant that works on the central nervous system to increase energy, alertness and productivity. Caffeine and performance can be a delicate balance as too little won’t give you the boost you need whereas too much can result in too much arousal, making the person jittery and even causing digestive distress. The 250mg found in Elev8 is higher than your average energy drink but considering caffeine’s half-life of around 6 hours in adults, won’t interrupt sleep when taken at a reasonable time or cause any lasting negative side effects. 

250mg Alpha GPC

Alpha-GPC (L-Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine) is a chemical form of choline naturally found in the brain. It is the most efficient choline prodrug we have, making it a powerful nootropic. Other benefits of note include an increase in power output and the potential to spike growth hormone levels.

200mcg Huperzine A

Huperzine is a natural nootropic (focus) ingredient extracted from herbs. It works as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, which means that it stops an enzyme from breaking down acetylcholine. Maintaining high levels of acetylcholine while performing mentally and physically challenging tasks is beneficial as this neurotransmitter is involved in learning and muscle contraction.

100mg Dynamine™

Dynamine™ (Methylliberine) is the first of the two patented ingredients you will find in Elev8. It is a stimulant which compliments caffeine without adding to associated side effects. It can amplify feelings of energy, mood, and focus, by activating dopamine receptors and other key neurotransmitters, inhibiting adenosine receptors, all without elevating heart rate and blood pressure.

100mg L-Theanine

L-Theanine can be used in several ways. Taken before bed, it can promote relaxation and help you ‘switch off’. When combined with stimulants, this amino acid can reduce blood pressure increases, jitters and anxiety, for an overall smoother experience.

50mg Astragin

Astragin is a patented natural ingredient to improve absorption of key nutrients and support gut integrity. Astragin works well not only with pre-workout ingredients such as l-citrulline and creatine, but even fish oils and glucosamine! 50mg, as used in Elev8, is the advised dose to pair with your supplement.
